Raslysation™ Castor unit soon to be operational in ADL, Canada

Lyras can now proudly announce that the Raslysation™ Castor unit will soon become operational in Prince Edward Island, Canada.

In collaboration with Amalgamated Dairies Limited PEI (ADL), Lyras’ innovative raslysation™ technology will be integrated into ADL’s brine treatment process for the production of Havarti and Feta cheese.

ADL is a respected Canadian dairy company and long-standing partner of Arla Foods, and the dairy company has selected the Raslysation™ Castor unit to ensure microbiological control and improve food safety across its production lines. The system will be implemented in ADL’s brine pools, contributing to consistent product quality.

This milestone reflects the growing adoption of non-thermal, sustainable processing technologies within the global dairy industry. By incorporating raslysation™, ADL is taking a significant step toward enhanced quality assurance, resource efficiency, and sustainability.

Special thanks are extended to Michael Jul Pedersen of Arla Foods for his invaluable support and collaboration throughout the project.

Lyras looks forward to seeing raslysation™ make a meaningful contribution to Canadian cheese production and to continued innovation in dairy processing worldwide.
