Automation Engineer

Are you a recent graduate or do you have a few years of experience in automation, and are you eager to develop in an ambitious and innovative environment?

At Lyras, we are looking for a new colleague to help carry out automation projects from design to commissioning in close collaboration with our Development and Automation teams. As an Automation Engineer, you will be a key part of our project organization, with opportunities to learn, grow, and influence solutions that make a difference for the climate.

Your role as Automation Engineer at Lyras

As an Automation Engineer at Lyras, you will work on executing automation projects in close collaboration with colleagues and customers. You will be involved in everything from programming and documentation to plant commissioning, with the opportunity to develop your skills as your projects progress.

Your key responsibilities

Contribute to the design and customization of automation solutions for our process equipment
Program and configure PLCs, as well as develop and maintain standard software
Support integration with customers’ SCADA systems
Participate in commissioning, testing, and support at customer sites both in Denmark and abroad
Prepare electrical technical documentation
Represent Lyras professionally in collaboration with customers and partners

We imagine that you…

Have an education in automation technology or a similar field and love working with automation
Bonus: You have a background as an electrician or industrial electrician
Are interested in PLC programming and SCADA systems (e.g., Siemens or Allen-Bradley)
Are curious, eager to learn, and motivated to develop your skills
Can work independently and as part of a team
Speak and write English at a good level
Are flexible and open to travel (30–90 days per year)
